Meet Dr. Klein
Dr. Klein was graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS degree with honors. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1966 from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, University of Maryland. After serving two years as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps., at Vandenberg A.F.B.,California (1966-1968), Dr. Klein returned to Baltimore to enter a private practice of General Dentistry from 1968-1970. He then returned for two years of post-graduate education and received his Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1972. Dr. Klein opened his Endodontic office in June,1972 at the Belvedere Towers.
In the past,
1972-1980, Dr. Klein taught part-time at the University of Maryland
School of Dentistry, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where
he was a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics.
He taught graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Klein has lectured
extensively over the past 39 years on the subject of Endodontics.
Dr. Klein volunteers to teach on the Dean's faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Klein is called upon to give expert testimony in peer review cases on behalf of patients and dentists, re: endodontic cases. Dr. Klein's memberships and activities in dental organizations include the following:
Dr. Klein has been honored to be named as one of Baltimore's top endodonstis in Baltimore Magazine's issue on "Top Docs" from 1999 to the current April 2011 honor.
Dr. Klein has been married for 45 years. He and his wife,Estee, have a married daughter and has 3 grandchildren. Interests and hobbies of Dr. Klein include: photography, skiing, walking / hiking, biking, reading, listening to music, theatre, and art gallery exhibits.
